School Farm Summer Internships - Join us!

June 19th to September 6th

The School Farm is a year-round and comprehensive hands-on teaching and training program for K-12 students. The School Farm Summer Internship program is for high school students who are looking for a part-time way to have fun, learn important skills, develop your future work resume, and give back to your community. The 2.5 acre farm includes open field planting areas, a greenhouse, strawberries, blueberries, fruit orchards, summer community events, beekeeping, composting center and a 20' Training Center sitting for indoor/outdoor learning opportunities.

With a grant from the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation, we are able to offer 12 high school students an incredible summer opportunity!

10 Part-time Summer High School Internships ($500 each) - minimum of 8 hours/week of school farm volunteer work

  • 7 farm interns (planting, harvesting, food preparation, CSA, Festival events)

  • 1 Beekeeping intern (maintenance, feeding, harvesting)

  • 1 media intern (photos, videos, social media)

  • 1 marketing intern (local and regional financial and in-kind support)


2 Part-time Summer Mentors ($1,000 each) - minimum of 16 hours/week of school farm volunteer work
